16. Our Mr. R.S. will retire, and his son, Mr. A.S., will be admitted a partner, with his father's share in capital and profits of the firm.
17. I inform you that I have this day retired from the business carried on by Mr. S.K. and myself in partnership at the above address under the style of K. & S.

29. We inform you that our senior partner, Mr. E.S.C., who, through poor health, has for some time past ceased to take any active part in the management, will, on the 31st May next, retire altogether from business.
30. I regret to inform you that my esteemed partner, Mr. J.W., has, owing to continued bad health, decided to retire, and this business will accordingly be carried on; as from the above date, under the same style by myself alone.
