Monoclinic crystals, white powder, granular crystals or prills. Melting point: 891°C. Easily soluble in water forming a slightly alkaline solution. Insoluble in alcohol and ether. It is strongly hygroscopic and it easily cakes and turns into Potassium bicarbonate through absorbing carbon dioxide when exposed to the air for a long time.
Used as raw materials in manufacturing electro tube, TV kinescopes and computer displays. Applied in optical glass improving clarity, strength and refractive index, also applied in electrode avoiding electric arc breaking-off during welding, also used in agriculture.

Store in dry and ventilated warehouse away from moisture. Don't store goods outside or expose to the air.
